Weather permitting, in addition to Spring Games, which will be held on May 15, we are extending the season and will have track practices on May 22, June 5, and June 12.
Track is usually held Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Riverside Park (weather permitting). Enter the park at 72nd Street and Riverside Drive (west side of Manhattan) at the statue of Eleanor Roosevelt. Walk down the hill to pass through the tunnel under the highway (the dog run should be on your left). Take the ramp down to the track.
All athletes must have valid medical forms and everyone must follow COVID protocols.
Please check http://www.specialolympics212.com after 8 a.m. on Sunday mornings if the weather is questionable or it rained heavily the night before.
We will also continue our Zoom practices on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. The Meeting ID is 386 628 027 and password is 12345.
