Special Olympics New York will be hosting its Fall Kickoff event THIS SATURDAY, August 13th from 10 am – 12 pm at Central Park (North Meadow Baseball Field #3). Enter Central Park from the East or West Sides at 97th Street.
This event is designed to help recruit new athletes, coaches, and volunteers, and to show folks what Special Olympics NY is all about. Everyone — including athletes, family members, supporters, coaches, volunteers, etc. — is welcome to attend. There will be stations set up for soccer and softball skills, as well as bocce.
